My work lives at the intersection of creative empowerment, collaborative art-making, and holistic wellness. As an artist, educator, and mental health counselor, I’m deeply interested in how creative processes can support connection, resilience, and personal growth. Across my career, I’ve focused on creating inclusive spaces where people explore identity, story, and relationship through creativity, whether in a rehearsal room, a workshop, or a community setting.

My journey began in Washington, D.C., working with organizations such as The American Alliance for Theatre & Education and Imagination Stage. There, I developed a strong foundation in collaborative theatre-making and arts education, and saw how creative practice

could serve not only as performance, but also as a way for people to reflect, ask questions, and better understand themselves and the world around them.In Florida, I continued this work at Asolo Repertory Theatre, leading outreach initiatives that supported participants in creating original work drawn from lived experience. These programs reinforced my belief in creativity as a tool for wellbeing, one that invites agency, voice, and meaningful connection.

At American Stage, I led Education & Outreach as well as Improv Training & Performance, expanding access to theatre education for artists of all ages and backgrounds. I later advanced citywide initiatives at the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance that bridged the arts, education, and civic engagement, using creative programming to foster dialogue, participation, and community connection.

Today, alongside my background in arts education and leadership, I hold an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This training informs my creative wellness work, allowing me to design workshops and group experiences that integrate creativity, narrative reflection, and practical tools for navigating stress, identity, and life transitions. While this work is therapeutic in nature, it is distinct from psychotherapy. Individuals interested in my clinical counseling work can learn more through my Psychology Today profile. At the heart of all my work is a simple aim: to create thoughtful, welcoming spaces where people can engage creatively, feel supported, and move toward meaningful transformation together.
