Tiffany Baldwin
My work lives at the intersection of creativity, connection, and emotional wellbeing. I am an artist, educator, and mental health counselor who believes that creative practice is not just about making art. It is about breaking barriers within us, and between us; discovering (or rediscovering) ourselves, building resilience, and finding meaningful connection with others.
I first saw the power of this work in rehearsal rooms and community classrooms, where people of all ages and abilities used play, story, and collaboration to find confidence, voice, and belonging. From my early work in Washington, D.C. with organizations such as The American Alliance for Theatre & Education and Imagination Stage, to leading applied theatre, documentary storytelling programs, and education & outreach in Florida with Asolo Repertory Theatre

and American Stage, I witnessed how creativity can become a bridge between inner experience and outward expression and between isolation and connection.
Over time, this path led me to formal training in mental health counseling. Today, I hold an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. This clinical foundation informs my creative wellness work and allows me to design workshops and group experiences that integrate narrative reflection, embodied creativity, and practical tools for navigating stress, identity, and life transitions.
While this work is distinct from my work psychotherapist, it is grounded in the same values of compassion, collaboration, and respect for each person. At the heart of everything I do is a simple aim: I create welcoming, playful, and thoughtful spaces where people can explore, grow, and move toward meaningful change together.
