"Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art."
-Stanislavsky
My work lives at the intersection of creative empowerment, devised performance, and holistic wellness. As an artist, educator, and community leader, I am passionate about how collaborative theatre-making can cultivate connection, resilience, and transformation. Across my career, I’ve focused on creating inclusive spaces where people explore identity, story, and relationship through the generative process of art-making.
My journey began in Washington, D.C., with organizations such as The American Alliance for Theatre & Education and Imagination Stage, where I developed a deep appreciation for devised theatre as a vehicle for social inquiry and personal growth. In Florida, I continued this mission at Asolo Repertory Theatre, leading outreach initiatives that empowered participants to author and stage original work drawn from their lived experiences.
At American Stage, I led Education & Outreach, as well as Improv Training & Performance, expanding access to theatre education for artists of all ages and backgrounds. I championed devising as both pedagogy and practice—helping young people and adults alike engage in collective creation that reflected their communities’ voices. Later, at the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, I advanced citywide programs that bridged the arts, education, and civic engagement, using devised performance as a tool for dialogue and change.
An alumna of the University of Central Florida, I founded Project Spotlight to give young creatives a platform to develop and perform original works. Now, with my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I continue to explore the intersections of creative process, narrative identity, and wellbeing—integrating the principles of devised theatre into both educational and therapeutic settings.
